Another star dimmed

Betty Hutton, who died the other day, was by no means my favorite performer, but if she'd never done a thing after starring in the wonderful Preston Sturges classic The Miracle of Morgan's Creek, she'd be okay in my book.

Besides, there are so few performers left who starred on the big screen in the Thirties and Forties, and their numbers, of course, continue to dwindle, so each such passing pains me.

I wonder if there's anyone left who appeared in a Preston Sturges movies.
