Birdwatching, Manhattan style -- Pt. 60

On Sunday, Flo and I took in an evening screening of Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and who sat two rows in front of us but Ethan Hawke.

Hawke's one of my more common sightings, and Flo's too -- I think he must live somewhere not too far from us -- but as Flo put it, we'd never seen him at a movie theatre before, so I figure it merits a mention.

Hawke left just a few seconds into the credits, by the way. So while I usually like to stick around to see who was the best boy or the gaffer on a picture I've enjoyed, I'll never feel guilty if I do cut out as soon as those credits start to roll. If a movie star like Hawke, a guy whose very livelihood is made possible by the efforts of the anonymous craftsmen and women who work behind the scenes, doesn't feel the need to pay his respects, why should I have to stick around?
