In my day job, I work at a university, focusing on online courses, and with the opening of the spring session this week, I've been pretty busy taking calls from confused and anxious students.
Today, after I explained to one young woman that the information she was seeking had been sent to her in a letter from the university ("Oh? I'll have to try to find that letter, then!"), she told me I sounded on the phone just like Barack Obama.
I assured I was neither as tall, as handsome, nor as accomplished as our 44th President.
"Ah, you didn't have to tell me that," she said, sounding a bit crestfallen.
I do have a knack for disappointing the lay-deez.
